October 2020: Mushroom cultivation sprouts an improved livelihood for tribal communities!

Mushroom cultivation sprouts an improved livelihood for tribal communities!

In the first phase, Atul Institute of Vocational Excellence provided seed kits and training to 34 farmers to grow mushrooms.

After the positive experience from the first phase; the second phase, which comprised 10 women from 3 villages of Kaparada taluka, were provided with seed kits and technical support.

They have received good yield in the first month and have identified markets near their villages to sell the produce. Each cultivator is expected to earn an annual profit of ~ ₹ 45 thousand from mushroom cultivation.

We are committed to this initiative and seek to make a difference in the lives of tribal communities through various development projects.
