Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.
WELDING
Jignesh, a former student of Atul Institute of Vocational Excellence (AIVE), comes from a humble background. His parents are farm labourers. Jignesh’s brother informed him about the vocational courses run by AIVE. To improve his practical skills, Jignesh enrolled himself for AIVE’s welding course.
After completing the course, Jignesh started a shop about 15 km away from his home in Kaparada, Gujarat. He owns the only welding shop in and around this village and is able to get regular work. Today, he is financially independent and contributes to the family’s household expenses.
Jignesh’s story is an example of grit and perseverance, and we are proud to be part of it!
MOBILE REPAIRING
Mayur, a graduate of AIVE, is quite an expert in mobile repair. While at school, Mayur was more interested in different parts of a mobile phone than his studies! He heard about the various vocational courses organised by AIVE from a friend after which he enrolled in the institute’s mobile repair course.
At AIVE, Mayur received an in-depth understanding of software and hardware repair. Currently, he is employed with a mobile repair shop in Navsari. He also repairs mobile phones at home as an additional source of income. In future, he is keen to run his own shop.
SEWING
Kailashben was engaged in farming before she enrolled in AIVE’s sewing course. Her husband was the only earning member of the family and she wanted to support him financially. The course skilled her in the art of stitching. AIVE subsequently provided her with a fully equipped sewing set. Today, she stitches a variety of clothes from dresses to shirts, salwar suits, bags and more.
At the start of the lockdown, Kailashben started stitching masks which helped her family sustain the uncertain period. AIVE endeavours to empower young minds by equipping them with various vocational skills.
