Industrial visits are organised for every trade to provide exposure to the students and to strengthen their understanding of the
on-field operations of their respective trades.

  • learn basic gas welding, gas cutting and arc welding (MMAW)
  • develop knowledge of MIG | MAG | CO2 welding
  • joining metals by various processes such as oxy-fuel gas welding, brazing, and arc welding
  • cutting metals to various sizes and shapes by using oxy-fuel cutting process
  • joining metals by arc welding process, MIG and TIG welding process
  • doing the job with utmost precision and also to produce radiographic quality work
Assessment system

The courses aim to assess students’ performance through soft skills, personality development as well as trade-specific technical skills. The trade technical skills are in line with the syllabus approved by Sector Skill Councils. Technical skills are reviewed with the help of:

  • monthly internal exams consisting of objective questions as well as practical demonstrations
  • third-party examiners at the end of the training period
